Easy Starbucks Juniper Latte Recipe (Juniper Syrup)
Starbucks Juniper Latte, known for its unique pine-like flavor, can be recreated at home with this easy guide and DIY juniper syrup recipe.
For the Juniper Syrup:
- ½ cup juniper berries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- A strip of orange peel or a sprig of fresh rosemary' optional
For the Latte:
- 1 shot Starbucks Signature Espresso
- 1 cup steamed milk
- 2-3 teaspoons juniper syrup
Combine juniper berries, water, and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Add orange peel or rosemary for extra citrus notes and depth. Simmer for 10-15 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Strain the syrup to remove the berry of the shrub and other solids. Let cool and store in an airtight container.
Brew your espresso using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
Heat and froth your choice of almond milk (or preferred milk alternative) to create a velvety foam.
In your cup, combine espresso and 2-3 teaspoons of juniper syrup. Adjust sweetness to taste.
