Copycat Starbucks Pistachio Latte Recipe (+Nutrition Facts)

Enjoy a homemade copycat Starbucks pistachio latte with rich brown butter and real pistachios, perfect for cozy mornings or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

For the Browned Butter:

  • 8 oz salted or unsalted butter

For the Pistachio Latte:

  • 1 oz espresso shot of Starbucks Espresso Roast
  • 2 tbsps pistachio syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp browned butter
  • 8 oz whole milk
  • 1 tsp crushed shortbread cookies for garnish

Instructions

For the Browned Butter:

  • Place butter in a light-colored pan over medium to medium-low heat. Stir gently as the butter melts. It will foam and gradually turn a golden-brown color. Continue stirring until the foam settles and the milk solids begin to brown at the bottom.
  • Once the butter is browned, remove it from the heat and store it in a heatproof container for later use.

For the Pistachio Latte:

  • Prepare an espresso shot using Starbucks Espresso Roast or your favorite espresso beans.
  • In a mug, combine pistachio syrup and browned butter. Stir gently to combine.
  • Froth the milk using a milk frother, or by shaking the milk in a mason jar and microwave it for 30 seconds to froth. Pour the frothed milk over the espresso and syrup mixture in your mug.
  • Sprinkle crushed shortbread cookies on top for a sweet, crunchy garnish.
