Ingredients
For filling:
4medium Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and diced
1cupblackberries
1tspcinnamon
1/4tspnutmeg
1/3cupbrown sugar
1tbspcornstarch
1tsplemon juice
For topping:
1/4cupgluten-free flour blend
1/4cupalmond flour
1/2cupgluten-free old fashioned oats
1/3cupbrown sugar
1/4tspsalt
1/2tspcinnamon
5tbspsunsalted butterdiced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
To make the filling, combine apples, blackberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl until coated evenly.
To make the topping, whisk together flour, oats, sugar, salt and cinnamon in another bowl. Using a pastry cutter or fingers, mix in butter until topping has a crumbly consistency.
Arrange apple mixture into a casserole dish or 9x9 pan and sprinkle topping evenly on top.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Serve warm.
