A list of healthy food products I always buy from Trader Joe’s!
Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite grocery store and for many reasons. While I’m not too excited about their ridiculously long lines, their products and competitive prices are hard to beat. Today I want to share with you some of my favorite healthy food products I purchase frequently from Trader Joe’s.

Frozen Mango Chunks
These are often sold out at my store, but whenever I see them I will always stock up and buy a couple of bags. I add them to plain Greek yogurt and smoothies.
Soft Multigrain Rustico Bread
Bread is one of the products I always buy from Trader Joe’s. I love that this is high in fiber thanks to some flax – it’s my go to bread for avocado egg toast!
Dry Roasted and Unsalted Almonds
I love Trader Joe’s raw and dry roasted almonds. There is a huge variety of flavored almonds to choose from – cinnamon, Thai lime and chili – but my favorite is definitely the roasted, unsalted kind. It is versatile enough for a recipe or a nutritious, low sodium snack.
Salsa Verde
Only 10 calories per serving, this salsa packs a healthy punch with a great zing. I put it on eggs, especially huevos rancheros, and burrito bowls.
Honeycrisp Apples
It’s only $2.99 for a two-pound bag, which is a steal compared to the $3/lb at Whole Foods!
Canned Beans
ALL KINDS OF BEANS, for salads, vegetarian burgers, and turkey chili. I also like the Cuban-style black beans for using as a base for black bean burritos and healthy refried beans.
Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil
I find that it has really great quality and flavor. It’s good as a bread dip, salad dressings, and even for roasted vegetables.
Organic Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
I sprinkle them over low-fat plain yogurt or a bowl of oatmeal – so good and good for you!
