As they say, it’s better to give than receive, so I’ve got 6 gift ideas for the foodies in your life that will make their eyes light up. These fun items will surprise and delight anyone who enjoys being in the kitchen, or simply loves food!
Hot Chocolate on a Stick: No more flavorless hot chocolate from powdered mixes – this stuff is thick, creamy, and decadent! Perfect for the chocolate lovers in your life. I’m making a batch of this tomorrow.
Homemade Spice Mixes: I’ve lots of mini canning jars sitting around and been wanting to make different spice blends like Taco Seasoning Mix and Jerk Spice Blend to give away to my friends. It’s really easy – and now that summer is two-thirds over (don’t shoot the messenger!) next on my list is Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix. It’s calling my name!
Food Prints: I am in love with these watercolor fruit and vegetable prints from the Uncommon Goods Home Decor collection which feature unique designs and handcrafted gifts! They would be perfect in the kitchen or dining area, and the fact that you can buy them unframed is a bonus so that you can easily adapt it to your home decor.
Tomatoes, lemons, and beets — what would you choose?
Produce Candles: These handmade soy candles come in mason jar holders with the farm fresh scents of Cilantro, Melon, or Kale!
Food Pillows: Who doesn’t want to dream in doughnuts, banana splits, and pretzels? :)
Decorative Serveware: I have a soft spot in my heart for the barn wood/reclaimed wood look. Turn them into elegant serveware? I’m sold! These reclaimed wine barrel serving tray and double tiered teak root serving platter will be so much fun to bring out at parties.
Hope you enjoy my finds! Have a great weekend everyone – it supposed to be a beautiful one around here :)
