A protein-packed “green” smoothie rich in antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins – the perfect breakfast to fuel your day!
Good morning and happy Saturday! Do you have any fun plans for the day? We’re heading out soon to visit the Jeff Koons exhibit at the Whitney Museum, but I want to pop in here to share a quick recipe with you. I usually have yogurt with fruit and granola for breakfast, but every once in a while, I crave a high-protein breakfast to give me an energetic boost in the morning. I am all about smoothies lately and I hardly ever make the same smoothie twice, but I know this is the one I’ll be making again and again.
Looking for a healthy smoothie packed with fruits and vegetables to give you some serious morning fuel? This smoothie does just that. I used frozen organic blueberries and a handful of fresh baby spinach leaves from Earthbound Farms, in addition to almonds and Greek yogurt to ramp up nutrition. It is an incredibly healthy and delicious portable breakfast, and only takes about three minutes to make!
