I think we can all agree that great appetizers are a must for any and all holiday gatherings. The best appetizers are reliable, simple, yet taste and look amazing – just like this one I’m sharing with you today.
What could possibly be better than a wheel of brie cheese topped with tart cranberry sauce, roasted pecans, and honey, then baked until the center is melted and gooey? That’s right, not much can beat that! The sweet and savory flavors are delicious and one-of-a-kind!
In the past, I’d always order baked brie at the restaurants, but now that I know how easy and effortless it is to whip it up, I’m all about making this appetizer at home. This way, I can pair it with wines we enjoy.

Cranberry Pecan Baked Brie
Ingredients
- 8 oz round brie cheese at room temperature
- 1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup roasted pecans chopped
- 1 tbsp honey
- Fresh sprigs of rosemary for garnish
- Assorted crackers for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Place brie in a small oven-safe dish.
- Mix the cranberry sauce, orange zest, and nutmeg. Spread cranberry mixture on the brie wheel and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until the topping is bubbling and the cheese is gooey. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
