Top your favorite salad with this lightened up blue cheese dressing – it has a great creamy and chunky balance and you won’t have to sacrifice the taste at all!
Nothing beats the flavor of homemade salad dressing. You know that tangy, sharp, savory, creamy sauce, which tastes even better with buffalo wings or drizzled on a wedge of iceberg lettuce? Yes, today I’m sharing a recipe for Blue Cheese Dressing!
Most blue cheese dressing recipes call for buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sour cream, but if you’re making it from scratch, you have so much control over what goes into the dressing. My secret ingredient for this lightened up blue cheese dressing is non-fat Greek yogurt which adds a nice creaminess. I also used some fresh lemon juice to give it a bright tang, and it was seriously delicious!
You can do many things with this sauce, like serving it with wings, or as a dip with fresh veggies, or drizzle it over a Cobb salad. Feel free to adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk.
