You can indulge in a small batch of chocolate chip cookies without having a dozen sitting around to tempt you.
We are a few days away from Valentine’s Day, my friends! Last year I shared a Molten Chocolate Lava Cake recipe for two, and so I want to share another dessert recipe for two. I love warm chocolate chip cookies served a la mode, but most recipes churn out at least a dozen of cookies.
The recipe today is perfectly portioned…for TWO!
I baked it into two large chocolate chip cookies which is more fun to eat, but you can always make smaller cookies (about four regular size cookies) and adjust baking time as necessary.
Chocolate Chip Cookies For Two
You can indulge in a small batch of chocolate chip cookies without having a dozen sitting around to tempt you.
Servings 1 very large cookies
Ingredients
- 2 tbsps unsalted butter softened
- 3 tbsps packed brown sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg yolk, and mix until incorporated.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and stir until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Form cookie dough into a ball. Flatten slightly and place on baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
- Remove from oven and let cookie cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
